Had a CPR Course today. It went surprisingly well. It was NOTHING like what I did whent I was in SJ, the drilling of CPR knowledge helped alot in today's course. Everyone was so lost, I was lost too, but I wasn't THAT lost because I had the basic knowledge of it. The few of us were suppose to attend a 9a.m lecture on CPR where they will demonstrate using the powerpoint and videos to show you how it is done, but we didn't go because.. we didn't know we had to go. So, anyway, we jumped straight into practicing it and went for the test. If there is no part 2, I should be able to pass it.
Went for lunch with a few friends, 7 of us in total actually. I'm really so grateful for the friends I have, goodness knows how lonely and sad Uni life will be like without them. Life is sad and lonely without friends! How can anyone survive without friends?
Anyway, I met this Singaporean-Malay guy (we call him Fad for short) from the same Uni, I met him at orientation actually. We are the only 2 Singaporeans from ACU. So lonely! Haha, anyway, I took the tram to the North side of Melbourne which was an experience. I mean, this side of Melbourne is nothing like the city. It's like a small town, self sufficient. You don't have to venture into the city to get stuff, everything you want or need can be found in that town.
Went to watch my first movie in Oz! Its $9 and this is the cheapest ticket you can get around here. If you want to catch a movie, GO ON A TUESDAY because this is the CHEAPEST. The cheapest ticket on any other day other than a Tuesday will cost you $12 if you are a student and $14 for an adult. 0_0 right?! Anyway, I saw TMNT!!! (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)this movie really brought back memories man! Knowing that I have 3 other siblings and a whole bunch of cousins, we can each choose to be our favourite turtle! I use to like Michaelangelo and after watching the movie, I still like that orange turtle! So cute that pizza loving turtle! And oh! The old sensei, the rat? He is like so wise and everything. Such a nice movie! =D
Anyway, Fad could drive, so we drove and had dinner at an Indian restaurant that supposedly serves Malaysian and Singaporean Indian Food. The menu was quite authentic, with all the different types of Indian food, a typical menu on Little India, and oh!! They have teh tarik!!!! I was so amused by it! I wanted to order the teh tarik, but knowing me, I won't be able to sleep, so I gave it a miss.
He is a really sweet guy, he drove me all the way back home! It was a 20 minute drive, but still sweet of him right? He's not a typical 25 year old guy. He's stable and he knows what he wants in life and he has a goal. He has something to work hard for and work hard towards, which is really good considering how guys nowadays are.. well... not THAT stable. He intendeds to bring his fiancée over and settle down here, which is really nice. Now why can't all men be like that?! =x
I need to pay my rent tomorrow, and I'm not ready to part with it!!
=D
