Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous

When marimba rhythms start to play, dance with me, make me sway.
Like a lazy ocean hugs the shore, hold me close, sway me more.
Like a flower bending in the breeze, bend with me, sway with ease.
When we dance you have a way with me, stay with me, sway with me.
Other dancers may be on the floor Dear, but my eyes will see only you.
Only you have the magic technique When we sway I go weak.

YoooHooo!!! I'm back from taiwan!!!

The trip was great, enjoyable. I shall try to recall the things that happen during the 5 days. My memory isn't that good so I may mix up some of the things we did.

The plane trip to Taiwan was great, we met this very sweet air steward who seem to care genuinely about the well fare of the passengers. Anyway, we were standing out from the other passengers as we did not travel with family and we look young! Yep, majority of the other passengers were either old, middle-aged or traveling with family. He was so sweet, telling us to be careful and which of the places to visit and everything else! He also gave us 2 decks of playing cards! So sweet of him! So, I gave him a nickname, "Godfather".=D

We visited Wu Fen Pu, where we did most of the shopping. Its a wholesale area, and its really big! During the entire trip, we visited the area twice, but I got more stuff on the first visit. =D

We visited 101 too! That place is an observatory tower merged with a shopping centre and offices. The elevator was boasted to be one of the fastest. Anyway, it was a good experience and the view wasn't too bad. Maybe its because I was tired. =D

Hmm, Mei Li Hua was good too! Its a ferris wheel which was illuminated with green lights. Somehow we looked excited and the person who was in charge of opening the doors for us kept smiling to himself. The view was ok, and the ride was over pretty soon, I read somewhere that it only took 17 minutes.

We also visited 2 night markets! The first one was good, we bought abit of things from there and ate fried oyster and fried chicken. The fried chicken was good, but it tasted similar to the Shi Lin chain outlets in Singapore. The second night market wasn't as good because it was alot smaller and had more food stalls.

Dan Shui and this other place, I forgot the name. Anyway, I'll get this 2 places mixed up. We took a bus to this hilly area which was suppose to be the traditional way of living in Taiwan. It was good, got to see alot of things, I guess the only thing that seem to be out of place was a Starbucks. Lol. The other place was near the sea? I guess its a sea, where we had long long ice-creams for only 10NT!! It wasn't creamy or anything like that, but a good thirst quencher. It was so so hot!! We were all perspiring like crazy, and we had Dunkin dough nut for lunch!

We took 2 neoprints from Xi Men Ding! The machines are different from the ones in Singapore, one machine allowed you to scan in pictures and take it as a background of the neoprint! Very interesting! We visited Xi Men Ding on the first day as well, and ate dough nut again, this time from Mister Doughnut. Mine was chewy!

I fell sick on the night of the 4th day, I guess its because it was really really hot and I didn't drink enough water. Anyway, thanks to Min's medicine, it didn't felt that bad as it could have been. Oh yes, I also went to cut my hair!! This I must really thank Min and Xuan for being so patient, waiting for me while I cut and dyed my hair. =D

We also went to 2 clubs on Wednesday cause it was Lady's Night. We saw Wang Shao Wei while we were about to leave, but our reaction was delayed cause we had drinks. It was bad bad bad, people were surrounding the dance floor but no one was dancing! Not until when we were about to leave! Its even worse than Zouk, atmosphere wise, but the layout of the club is nicer than Zouk. The second club we visited was like a children's club! So many youngsters, but it was alot more crowded than the first one we went to. Weird thing was we had to pay for entrance to the second club, when it was suppose to be free because of Lady's Night.

Oh yes, people over there, espcially guys like to stare, but its a different kind of staring compared to Singaporeans. Maybe its because we didn't speak like the locals and we were speaking in English most of the time. We met nice people, like the hotel staff and the general Taipei public. We also saw Lai Ya Yan while walking along the shopping centres near 101, she was the ambassador of a children's something something. =D

I also noticed something, Taiwan has alot of channels and that is without any cable or anything like that. So interesting!! We didn't have proper meals throughout the trip, we snacked more but we had steamboat twice because one was combined with a barbecue grill, we had rice with animal fat and a few side dishes highly fattening but tasty, we had dough nuts of course and lots of bubble tea. For me, the best meal was probably at the airport on the way home. Lol. My face is so so round now!! ahh!!!

This is probably random, but Taiwan boys are cute!!! Majority are, anyway. =D They all seem to have similar hairstyles but they dress up, unlike most Singaporean boys. Their style is similar to Luo Zhi Xiang's kind of dressing.

We woke up at 430 A.M on the last day!! We went to sing karaoke, its really cheap there! They even provide buffet! Nothing fancy, but I was surprised it was included! Each person was about $14 or $15? I was surprised I could wake up and I didn't fall asleep in the room!! The room is huge! They had a big big Tv and a bathroom too! They also had a touch screen monitor to choose the songs. We also visited Xiao Zhu's shop, his clothes are cheap for a celebrity owned shop. =D

This trip was enjoyable and my 2 darlings made it fun and memorable too!! So, thank you Min and Xuan!! Next destination, Thailand?? Lol. =D
