I had a random thought on the bus on the way for dental today.

This thought just came to me while I was looking out of the window.

We are lucky aren't we? We, Singaporeans I mean.

Safe and stable country, not afraid to hop into a cab late at night, good infrastructure, excellent transportation system, and the list goes on.

It annoys me at times when I read forum pages on how people criticize the government for not doing enough on this and that. Is it really human nature to only look at the bad, and think of the good as what is "suppose to be"?

I guess people need to take time out and just look at our surrounding and think, and be appreciative of things.

In this fast moving society, even a cheerful "thank you" is hard to come by, if not, rare. Is this what society will be like in the future- or even in the next few years? Will people stare when you say "thank you" because it is such a rare word to use nowadays?

When we watch films that depict the future, it is pretty scary isn't it. Not so much the technology, but the attitude. Is isolation the norm of the future?

No wonder some people are afraid of the future. Its hardly surprising, is it?

I think the reason for this emo post is because of my female hormones.

Anyway, dinner with Xuan at AMK hub cured it. We shared an 8inch burger! Imagine that!! And we got high on burger and coffee bean. How nice!

Its going to be a day of rest.

I've been commuting around Town the couple of days.

We kindof had a joint celebration last night. Sam and Alan's birthday. It was more an excuse for an extended family gathering, but oh well, it was not bad. The birthday cake I got was... disappointing. Its like a thing with well known cake shops. They get complacent after a while, and suddenly everything isn't as good as before. The cake wasn't as bouncy and ... it just wasn't made with love. It was sloppy work. I won't be buying cake from there for a while.

Headed to Town with Xuan for a Philippine play production by her friend. It was a good project. =)

Dad's phone is down, so he took mine until his gets repaired. I will be phone-less for the next few days, but it doesn't really matter seeing how people I go out with can contact me on MSN or call my house if I'm needed that urgently. That, of course, is highly unlikely, not that I mind. =D

I'm sleepy. Lol, its 12.. PM! Maybe its because of female hormonal issues.

Christmas, I can't wait.

Satisfied most of my cravings already. Had Curry noodles today, SO SO GOOD! And the Teh-Si and Kaya bread!! YUMMM!!!!

Picked up my Tohoshinki Concert DVD. Not the one I was expecting to receive cause I thought it was the "O" Concert DVD, but the person at the counter gave me the Five In The Black one. Oh well, I would have gotten that anyway.

Met Meng Meng at Bugis and had my thick toast! Yumm!! Met Xuan later in the evening and had Ding Tai Feng!! And headed for Green Tea Ice-Cream Parafit!! Yumm!!!

I'm finally home!!!

The much anticipated day has come and gone, or rather, still on going. =)

The first feeling I had when the plane touched Singapore soil was, "HOME". The feeling of... comfort. Lol, I sound like I haven't been back for years when I was away for only 5 months + - . I'm patriotic. =D

First destination after heading off from Changi was... to AMK Ave 4!! My family's favourite hawker centre was torched a few months back, so sad!!! No more nice dessert and nice food! =( So we headed to the other coffee shop just right beside the affected area. Didn't eat much except for 3 dumplings in soup that comes with Won Ton Mee. Dad had the Won Ton Noodles.

Headed to Town today for... therapy. Hahaha~ Ok, de-hair-ing~ That sounds weird~ Haha, my routine everytime I come back. Than walked around Town and waited for Mom and Sis. I spend the WHOLE DAY in Orchad! Literally the WHOLE DAY. From 1045-2100!! I don't think I've spent that long in Orchad before!!

Went to ask HMV and some music place in PS about TVXQ's 2nd Concert DVD. Apparently, it is due to be released in Singapore tomorrow, so, I hope the cd place in PS will call. =D

Had dinner at Newton. Yummy-licious food!!! VERY good Duck Noodles, VERY good popiah, VERY good stingray!!! Food that you cannot get in Mel!!!

The last few days left here is SO HARD TO PASS, I can't seem to concentrate for my last paper. Firstly, its so BORING and so wordy because I have no interest in the area of research although it is an important aspect. Secondly, I'm so restless. Haha.

Just saw Energy on Yu Le Bai Fen Bai, had the file for sometime, but didn't watch it because of the exams.

Xiao Gang so poor thing oh~~~ He was so neglected in the entire episode although you could tell he was trying his best. SO POOR THING!!!!

Jay Chou's new album is nice, the slow songs are fab as usual.

Its finally November, I'll be going home in less than 2 weeks!! WOOO!!! Today's the last revision lecture! I'm quite scared about the exams, it feels like I know my stuff, but what I'm afraid off is that I'll mix up certain points and jumble everything up! GAHHH!!

Oh gosh, I'm going to put on the weight that I think I lost previously during the exam period cause I won't hit the gym from today until I go back because of the exams.

I want to go home, but I'm having mixed feelings!! So weird!! Its like, I've been waiting for AGES to leave this apartment that I'm currently staying in cause its.. bad. But I'll be so busy on the day I leave, having to get the cleaners to do the carpet and stuff to do with my landlord. Argh!!! I'll probably only be able to heave a sigh of relief after I reach the airport.

BUT.. I'm still excited about going home!! I'm gonna learn driving!!!
