Translation please! =)

I love olden days English movies. Ok, movies that are shot during that time. Like Pride and Prejudice! Love love love that movie!! I like the costumes! The big fluffy dresses and the men are always so smartly dressed! But imagine living in those time, when they bath just.. once a week? I wonder how it was like when the ladies had their time of the month. Hehe..~~ So yeah, I saw this movie I got from Woolworths. Its Sense and Sensibility. Not too bad, again, old English times and its a romance movie! I'm going to attempt to register for driving today. But I have to take a 45-1hr tram ride to Camberwell to register! Far, but so exciting!! Wooo!! I actually can't imagine myself behind the wheel. I'll probably hold up traffic giving way to people, OR i'll develop ROAD RAGE!! -ROAR- Hehehe~ Lecture at 6pm!!! Gahhh!!! =x

I'll be OOI [ out of internet] for the next few days. Till then.. =) * It has been a fanastic 2 1/2 months. I didn't think I'll enjoy it this much. But I did. Many things that I didn't anticipate happened and... it took me by surprise. Some, pleasant some, not so pleasant. *Another year of school. Another chapter unfolding? We'll see.

Another time for goodbyes. Every time I have to go, I feel something different. I usually only feel 2 types of emotions. Anticipation and yarning to stay where I am comfortable. But this time round, its different. I feel like, its time to go again. This time, I just feel... blank. I've got tons of things, waiting for me to do the moment I set foot on Oz soil. Then its 5 months of pure "zoom-zoom". A busy 5 months, I anticipate. And then, I feel blank again. ----------------

Macau-Zhu Hai 2008. Trip was rubbish. Zhu Hai was ok, but Macau was plain boring.Macau is made up of 3 islands, and every island filled with nothing but Casinos. The island I was in had 28 casions. Shocking! Anyway... Day 1Reached Macau around 6 and headed for Zhu Hai. Dinner and massage was on the agenda. The massage was rubbish. Interestingly, they had male pedicurists! The rationale for that is that women don't have enough strength to lift the customer's leg. Interesting.~ Day 2 The hotel was surprisingly good. Better than I expected. Breakfast was rubbish. Anyway, we headed to some monument of that island. Zhu Hai is made up of hundreds of islands and the one we were on has a story behind it and goes something like this: The 8th daughter of 东海龙王 fell in love with this island and chose to spend a mortal's life. She subsequently met this lad and fell in love. This lad's friend was jealous of his friend's good fortune at having a beautiful and perfect wife. He then told his friend that his wife was a demon as she didn't have to eat and could do things mortals couldn't. He said that the only way she could prove that she was mortal was to remove 1 of the 8 bangles she wore on her arms. [The 8 bangles were suppose to act as a "immediate death" thing. Because more and more of 东海龙王's daughters preferred to live as mortals, the 8 bangles were deterrence of such thoughts. ] So, the lad told 东海龙王's daughter to remove 1 of the bangles and give it to him as a token of her love. She, of course couldn't do so and told him who she really was. He, chose to believe his friend and insisted that she take it off. To prove what she said was true, she removed the bangle and died.We later headed to another part of the island to see the statue of the lad, which was also near a Zhu Hai tourist destination. Its something like, The Peak of Hongkong. We took a ski-lift up to the top of the hill/mountain which was scary because the ski-lifts looked abit... runned down. We later took another runned down theme-park-ride down the hill/mountain. That was fun, but the journey down was very short. We then went go-karting!! That was really fun although the go-kart was very primitive! It still ran on gasoline and the people working there had to pull a cord to get the go-kart running! It was fun!! But the oil spilled all over me when I banged into the sides. Shopping was next. We went to this shop that had secret chambers!! They were selling imitated branded goods as usual and were split into 4 categories.A- A+, AA+ and AAA+ or something like that. I went into the chamber that had the AAA+ and, my goodness, the quality of the imitated goods are so good, it'll probably take a trained eye to spot the difference! We then went to a shopping center which was huge, but every stall was selling practically the same thing and the quality of goods were -_-, but the asking price is the same as what you find in Singapore. Dinner was good. Day 3
Went to get dried seafood stuff at this wholesale market place from Zhu Hai and shopped around at the shopping center we went to previously, had lunch and headed for Macau. Checked-in and walked around that island. CasinoS next!! We went to Sands Casino. Big place. Smoky though. My aunts gambled a little, none won anything. Day 4
Those who gambled the night before didn't have any sleep, and there wasn't any morning call, so we were delayed for abit. Visited another Casino called The Venetian. As the name suggests, it mimics The Vatican city. Nice place, but very boring. They had indoor gondola rides, which was pricey and very... weird. Like, its very man made and the "river" is very shallow.
Had lunch at the food court, which was rubbish. Food in Macau was rubbish!! Anyway, we then went to Fisherman's Wharf and had a walk around. Fisherman's Wharf was split into many areas with different themes. They had a Babylon Casino, Aladdin's cave/camp, Tang Dynasty, Rome's Colosseum etc... Interesting, but nothing much was going on, so, in other words, boring. Headed back to the hotel and set off for the airport. Interestingly, Macau's International Airport didn't have ANY fast food chain whatsoever. Isn't that surprising? I thought there will at least be a Mac Donald's, but there was none! Had dinner on JetStar, which wasn't economically friendly but the food was decent. Overall, the trip was... a lesson. Don't go so near Chinese New Year!! And, Macau is strictly only for gamblers seeing how extremely boring it is for non-gamblers. More photos when I get them from my cousin.
