I just got an email from my dear brother. =)

Its just a warm fuzzy feeling everytime I receive an email from one of the fishes.

Kind of makes me treasure and appreciate my fish family more. If I hadn't gone to OZ, perhaps I would have taken them for granted. Not perhaps, I will have!

Things always seem to happen for a reason doesn't it?

The people we meet in life, the situations that take place in our lives. Even the school we go to, the job we "randomly" picked up from the Classifieds. Nothing is random. Everything is in God's plan.

Come to think of it, my job at Suntec was good training. It taught me so much, and I experienced so much! The good (-i'm smiling-) and the not-so-good. Well, that's working life isn't it? =)

I know its silly to have idols at 21! But, its the only way I can take my mind of things. If I think of my family and friends, I get depressed. So, 东方神起 to the rescue!!

Jae looks so weird on the first 2 albums! But after watching so many off stage shows and programmes, Jae is so cute!!! Lol. Seriously!! Compare his photo from the first 2 albums, he look so weird!! But he started looking good after the 3rd Korean album.

I went to watch Horton Hears A Who!! Its a very hard-warming show, it's a kind of show that will make you go "awwww!!". Its as nice as Nemo I think. =) Jesse Macartney voiced in it! But he only had.... 5 sentences max. The entire show, his character was muted, the only time he really opened his "mouth" was to sing.. a few words. Lol. Its a nice show, you guys should catch it if you can!


Mimi (my good friend from Uni) and I went shopping! First we went to get tickets, and there was this LONG LONG queue because Tuesday is cheap tickets day for them. $9.50 per ticket, other days are like, $14 I think, or around there. So expensive!! So, the cafe shown below is part of this HUGE shopping center at Chadston. It has alot of shops, but... nothing to buy. Mimi bought the new Britney Spear's fragrance, Believe, and they gave her a bottle of Believe body lotion and a free Believe bag. So much free stuff!! (I wonder if they are trying to clear stock, cause Britney Spear's Midnight fragrance was gathering dust on the shelf).

My crazy friend went to buy this HUGE cake as shown below, its a Mango-Banana cake. IT IS SO SO SWEET!! I had 4 bites and downed my latte to drown out the sweetness. Gosh, cakes here are so incredibly sweet!

Clubbing in Melbourne.

Its actually quite nice. Wasn't as bad as I thought it will be.

I'm not sure if its an Asian club cause there were SO MANY ASIANS!! Only about 20 people from other races.

The club's setting is like a warehouse. Bigger dance floor than MOS and Zouk, where you don't see people sticking to each other. Their infrastructure doesn't get in the way or block your path, so that's good. No tables and chairs in the way either.
Huge dance floor: maybe 2 classroom sizes
Comfy cushions: you dont have to "reserve" your seat or make someone sit there because there are alot of seats, but somehow, the clubbers here dont really sit. Or, they sit for 10 minutes, get up and dance and float around.
Medium sized bar: the bar isn't very big, but it always looks crowded, funny enough, you don't see alot of people holding drinks in their hands or mugs on the table.
Table top/platforms: the platforms aren't very high, about the size of 4 SJC desks joined to form a square, but the height is like.. half of the desk leg. Table tops, I only saw one group of girls table dancing, lol, they look like they're trying to bump each other off the table cause its quite small and there were quite a few of them.
ID Checks: very strict ID checks, the bouncer stores your information in a computer if my eyes didn't fail me. Interesting...
Music: Nice music at the start, old pop songs from Destiny's Child, JLO. But when I got dragged to the dance floor they started playing music that I didn't recognise, so it was difficult to bounce to it. DJ was very interactive and he was rapping to the music, quite nice!

Throughout the entire time I was there, I kept thinking "The girls would love it if they were here." The club wasn't squashy, plenty of seats, not sure if drinks are expensive cause I didnt drink anything, no weird smell, people walking around clearing bottles and stuff. Its actually a very nice club to go to. They have a cloak room, where you pay $5 per item. Most people here just pay the $5 and don't carry ANYTHING with them at all. Not even cash, maybe its because most of them came with boys.

I left early with the twins. I think I only spent, 1 1/2 hours there. I didn't want to stay that long because the other people I know were with people they know, but whom I don't know so, its kindof weird.
Would I go clubbing again? I don't know. Probably not unless its someone's birthday or something I guess... I take a while to "fang kai" even in Spore, and I didn't "fang kai" the entire night, so I think I look constipated. Gah!! And I can't dance for nuts~~

The guys were all well dressed, and well groomed. The girls were.... well dressed as well but I think the guys last night looked better. Alot of good looking boys, surprisingly!! I don't know why I am surprised, but I am!

I have the whole week off next week due to the Easter holidays! Not so much a holiday for me cause I've got a massive amount of studying to do plus attachments.

I'm trying to do as many shifts as I can so that I can plan to go home in June/July, there's a quota everyone must reach, so, I'm trying!!

Husbands sang Pieces of A Dream with Chemistry on Music Fair!! SO SO NICE!!!! Junsu/Jaejoong can duet with almost everyone! Their voices are amazing. And Yunho looks good!! And Micky too!! Changmin is changmin... hahaha.. see the obvious bias-ness? Lol.


I'm going clubbing tonight.

I'm scared!! The only reason why I'm going is because my friends have been asking me to go clubbing since last year and I've always turned them down. They know it!! I don't know why they keep asking me to go!! Lol. Ok, I shouldn't be so ungrateful.
A friend's friend is organizing some party across the street from Crown Casino, and tickets are at $10 which is considered cheap in OZ standards. And, my friends won't take no for an answer.

OH NO!! I can't dance for nuts!! I'll look like an idiot bouncing off the dance floor!!

And, I won't be drinking cause, well, I don't feel secure. Firstly, because Mel has become so unsafe at night! You hear so much about street fights, people getting mugged (and knifed in the process) etc... AND they have a binge drinking problem. Its on the news almost everyday!

Secondly, I am probably going home alone, so, I have to stay sober. And I probably won't be allowed to go home before 1a.m so.. that's another problem.

Thirdly, I'll probably be sleepy, so I can pretend to be "drunk". Hahahaha, you guys all know how early I sleep. I'm downing as my potent concoction of drinking coffee and green tea on the same day. I couldn't sleep one night when I drank that. POTENT.

I thought of bringing my camera, but my friends ask me not to bring a bag cause you'll have to carry it the whole night. I'm still bringing a bag though, because where am I going to put my wallet, phone, keys and stuff?!? The bag is small, so, I can't PUT MY UMBRELLA in!! I'm quite annoyed at myself for that! Haha, no prizes for guessing why.

AND AND AND, its Good Friday!! Fancy going clubbing on Good Friday!! ARGH.

Thank you guys so so much!! It was really enjoyable!! We had pasta and pizza at Corretto's and this very rich cake at Brunetti! Bryan has most of the photos, I'll upload them when he sends them to me!

I also had Korean for dinner!! Yumm! But I was so so stuffed from lunch I only had soup, but thank you Weimei for dinner!!

I nearly screamed when I saw the balloons. Lol. I was smiling to myself like an idiot. Yes Yes, similar to my "eye candy" goofy smile. The chocolates were found inside the box. I went to collect a book I ordered because the school bookshop ran out of copies. Well, actually, they only ordered 3 for the entire Year 2 cohort!! So anyway, a friend and I took a trip down to this bookstore near Victoria Market.
The boss ( i assume he is the boss) is just the sweetest thing!! Ok, person!!

A box of syringe-like looking pens filled with red ink were on display. You know how they are put near the cash register? It looked so real and my friend and I were really amused by it. So as my friend was settling her bill, he took 2 pens and gave it to us!!! ON THE HOUSE!! SO SWEET!!!
The 2 of us were like idiots, acting like its the first time someone has actually given us something out of their own good will. We were so happy!

And before we left, he said, "Study hard!"

Isn't he just the sweetest thing!!

I felt like jumping over the counter to give him a hug!!

Hahahaha~

He really made my day.
