Johnny Depp signs on to three new Disney films Posted: 26 September 2008 1306 hrs Channelnewsasia
LOS ANGELES: Hollywood megastar Johnny Depp is knee-deep in Disney projects, having signed on to three new Disney films.
The actor will be reprising his iconic role of swashbuckling buccaneer Captain Jack Sparrow in the fourth instalment of “Pirates of the Caribbean”, one of Disney’s most successful movie franchises.
He will also play Native-American sidekick Tonto in “The Lone Ranger”, which will be directed by “Lost” and “Mission Impossible 3” hit producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
On top of that, the 45-year-old will play the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland”, which will utilise the 3D animation and performance capture technology used in “Beowulf”.
This will be the sixth collaboration between the two. The duo kick-started Depp’s stellar career with “Edward Scissorhands” and more recently, “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”.
The announcements were made before fans at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday, where Depp appeared in full pirate gear and a Lone Ranger mask.
The previous three “Pirates of the Caribbean” films have earned more than US$2.6 billion at the box office worldwide, making it one of Disney’s most lucrative franchises.
No premiere dates for any of the projects have been announced.

I watched The Mummy: Tomb of The Dragon Emperor
I watched it for 2 reasons, firstly is because I've seen the first 2 parts, and secondly because Jet Li is in it!!
Jet Li is handsome! But so old oh, from his Wong Fei Hong days. Hehe. Nevertheless, I'm a Jet Li fan!! =)
The move was okay, a few funny bits here and there. There were actually more funny bits than action. And the Chinese spoken by Brandon Fraser's son was funny!! We didn't even know what he was saying!!
The ending was... average. Predictable, but average. The plot isn't as good though. I'm still glad I saw it anyway.

Most of you probably will NOT care about my DBSK so I shall not even post their new MV here.
BUT IT WAS AWESOME!!
The choreography is so so so good!! My favorite SMP song for now.
I'm torn between pre-ordering their album from YesAsia or just wait and get it from HMV.
So sexy!!!!

I'm gonna have a hectic last week in Melbourne.
My silly University had to change the date of one of my papers, which clashed with my original driving test time. So I had 2 options, either take my test next year when I come back from Spore OR go further away to another office to do it.
In the end, everything worked out!! I manage to get a test date 2 days earlier. This was really... God's grace!! Cause the office in the city is jam packed in November and the chances of getting a slot before I go home is only a 5% chance, AND I GOT IT!! And its not during peak hour so that's another bonus!
WOoooOO!!!
Schedule for my last week of November, 3 consecutive days of stress.
19th November- Driving Test 20th- Biology Paper 21st-Nursing Paper & RUSHING TO THE AIRPORT after my paper.
I really like to live on the edge don't I?

2nd muffin making weekend!! This recipe was from Sissy. Good one sis, this recipe turned out well. I didn't put quite as much topping cause Sam Sam said he felt it was too sweet.
Banana Muffins!!
Maybe I should try making Cookies next weekend. I have to fatten my friends up before Term ends, or else, no one will finish it for me!!
Looks kinda bald without the topping..
My final timetable was suppose to be out yesterday. For some reason, its not, but they've sent everyone an email saying it is up! I just hope nothing changes. =x

2 and 1/2 months more till I touch Spore soil again.
My driving test, is on the 21st and I'm flying back on the 22nd. That is if my exam timetable does not change, I'll know by Friday next week if it does.
It doesn't seem that long, really.
Time flies when you're having fun, but time slows when you're not.
Am I not having fun? Hmm, this is a tough one. I'm not suffering or anything, just that I miss everyone.
I'm SENTIMENTAL.

I made muffins!!! My first attempt in Aussie. It turned out alot better than I thought! I got the recipe off the internet randomly. And yes, Sissy, I was going to put your photo cause baking reminds me of you! I only kept 3 out of 12, gave them to friends at Uni. They liked it, so that's good. =) Baking's therapeutic if you have people to eat it!
